Support the Hempfield basketball teams by signing up for their golf tournament scheduled for Friday, August 7, at Crossgates Golf Course. The event begins at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. The 2026 Patriot Games will bring together exceptional student-athletes ages 14–17 from across the 50 states, U.S. territories, and tribal nations to compete in a series of challenges that test strength, endurance, agility, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. One male and one female champion will each receive a $250,000 scholarship, with the competition streaming on the ESPN App and culminating in a national primetime ESPN/ABC special on August 13.

Applications are open now at https://freedom250.org/patriot-games and are due on July 10th, 2026. Interested students can apply by submitting basic eligibility information along with a short video introducing themselves and explaining why they want to compete.

Registration for Hempfield Virtual Academy (HVA) opens today through Aug. 7, 2026, for students in grades 7-12. Students/families interested in HVA need to complete the Enrollment Request Form. 

Your request will be reviewed by the HVA Coordinator in collaboration with the student’s counselor, principal, and IEP case manager (if applicable).
